Robots That Vacuum and Mop
Robots that mop and vacuum offer the convenience of removing dry debris (dust dirt) and wet messes (spills or stains) in one time without the need to change devices. They also can save space when compared to two separate units, particularly in smaller living spaces.
A good combination bot must be able to navigate well and have excellent obstacle avoidance. Look for models that automatically empty their bins and fill up their water tank and machine-wash their mopping pads with an appropriate dock.

The S1 Pro is a powerful small machine that can cleans up a mess and also vacuums well. You can view the complete cleaning details within the app, which is well laid out and is easy to comprehend although we would have liked to be able distinguish between a vacuum only or a vacuum/mop clean when looking at a cleaned area in the cleaning history.
2. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the latest version of Roborock's top-of-the-line robot vacuum and mop is the newest version. In contrast to the model of last year, this one features two agitators in its mopping pad which significantly enhances its carpet cleaning capabilities. The S8 Pro Ultra has an enhanced suction power that allows it to remove smaller hairs as well as other debris other robotic cleaners might miss.

The power button, which also restarts the cleaning mop button, which doubles as a child lock, and a home-button to send the robot to its dock. The hinged lid opens up to reveal a 350ml trash bin and 200ml water tank. The water tank is self-emptying, and the bin is auto-refilling.
The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount is not removable. You can replace the mopping cloth if required, but it's not easy to remove the mount for manual washing. I've noticed that any carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mount, which can cause abrasions.
The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of clever features, including support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app allows you to manage and set up these advanced features. It also has maps and advanced mopping options. The app lets you schedule cleanings and monitor the battery's lifespan. However, you'll need to jump through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
3. Dreame X40
The Dreame X40 robot vacuum and mop is a market leader with its innovative features, top suction power and advanced mowing capabilities. Its intelligent design allows users to tailor and effectively clean while reducing time.
The X40 is the first robot vacuum cleaner to deliver 12,000 Pascals of cleaning power, which makes it one of the top alternatives available. This powerful vacuum removes dry debris, including pet hair and dust. It comes with a mop of high quality that cleans hard floors without the use of pads. In addition, the X40 is quiet in it's operation, producing only occasional bursts of sound when switching modes or when completing self-maintenance tasks.
Another notable feature is the X40's extendable and liftable side brush, that allows it to reach difficult-to-access corners as well as clean furniture, such as tables and chair legs. It also allows the robot to get under furniture that is low-profile, making it a great option for apartments or condos with tight spaces. The side brush automatically lowers itself when it spots wet spots. This is a nice feature that assists the X40 to avoid causing damage to floors by the frequent back-and-forth movement.
In contrast to other robots that are limited to a single task, the X40 can mop and vacuum simultaneously. It can also be programmed to avoid areas with carpets and mop only hard floors or vice versa. It can be controlled using the Dreame App or Alexa, Siri, or Google Home to ensure smooth voice-controlled operation.
The app is user-friendly and simple to use and the X40's clever features are a breeze to install. Users can program the X40 to clean at specific times, alter suction power and mode, see floor plans and mapping, and manage mopping settings. The X40 can also monitor its progress and notify you when it's finished.
The X40 is easy to maintain and comes with numerous features which make it a good choice for busy families. budget robot vacuum docking station automatically empties the dustbin into a large 3.2 L bin, cleans mop pads and refills them with clean water and cleaning solution. It can also detect when the mop pad is overflowing and notify you before it overflows, reducing the necessity for manual maintenance.
4. L20 Ultra
The L20 Ultra robot is one of the most expensive models available. However, it has many features that make it stand out. The mops are equipped with a new feature called Smart DuoScrub. This utilizes two mops that are high-speed to scrub floors more thoroughly than the traditional method, and has an impressive suction power of 7,000Pa. This is higher than Roborock S8 Pro Ultra and Ecovacs Deebots T20 Omni. It can also remove pet hair, small dirt particles and pick up spills and dirt-stained spots.
The mops are also dried and cleaned inside the base station after each use. This is a fantastic feature as it stops the build-up of odours and mould in storage, and also makes mop systems more efficient. This is a feature we haven't seen on other robot mop or vacuum models. It could be a great method to keep your home clean longer.
There are a lot of options, including the option to schedule cleanings and change preferences. The app lets you set these preferences or use the buttons on the device itself. The app is simple to use and has many options to customize your cleaning routine. It also comes with many features that aren't offered on other robots, like the Clean Genius Mode, which automatically increases suction when it detects any dust particles.
The L20 Ultra has a stylish design with a metallic-white-white finish that looks sophisticated and classy. It's heavier than some of the other two-in-1 robots on this list - at around 4kg however it's not overly heavy either, and it feels sturdy and well-built. Mopping is well-designed and the double-rotating mop works well on hard floors or in corners. They can also extend up to 2mm of baseboards due to the MopExtend feature, which is a nice feature.
